1026 6th Avenue, New York City, 10018
The Core Program:
A mentorship program focused on classical realism and aesthetics. Classes meet once a week to paint and draw from the live model under the hands-on guidance of instructor Ken Goshen. Students are taught time-tested techniques for depicting light, form, texture, and atmosphere, as well as tools for composing captivating expressive artworks. The program balances a combination of skill-boosting exercises with ambitious personal projects, designed to bolster students’ technical abilities while nurturing their unique personal style and refining their artistic voice. Students receive extensive personalized feedback and ongoing step-by-step instruction. A tailored curriculum is developed for each student based on their artistic goals and experience level, which makes the program ideal for both beginners and advanced students.
